Octopus Gold Grab

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Octopus Gold Grab (the “Game”). The Game can be played without creating an account, and its core gameplay is available offline.

Information stored on your device

The Game stores gameplay progress and preferences locally using Apple's UserDefaults technology. This may include unlocked levels, stars, best results, collected golden pearls, challenge badges, selected octopus appearance, and music and sound settings. This information remains on your device unless it is included in a device backup managed by you or your platform provider. Deleting the Game generally removes this local information.

Advertising and tracking permission

The Game uses Yandex Mobile Ads as its only advertising network. Rewarded ads are optional and may be offered when you choose to revive after a failed attempt. The Game requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before advertising services are initialized. If you allow tracking, an advertising identifier (IDFA) may be made available to Yandex for advertising purposes. If you deny permission, you can continue playing and the IDFA is not provided by the Game.

Yandex and its technology partners may process information such as device and app identifiers, IP address, advertising interactions, and technical or diagnostic data to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertising. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy practices. You can learn more in the Yandex Privacy Policy.

Advertising configuration

When network access is available, the Game may contact a configuration service to request the active Yandex rewarded-ad placement for the Game's bundle identifier. Like other internet communications, the service may receive standard connection information such as an IP address. If this request fails or no valid ad placement is returned, gameplay remains available.

Security and fraud prevention

On supported physical devices, the Game initializes the HSSecurity SDK to help protect the Game and prevent abuse. The integration supplies the Game's bundle identifier and an identifier derived from Apple's Identifier for Vendor (IDFV). Security processing may involve communication with the service provider's infrastructure. This security feature is not used to create an in-game account or to sell personal information.

Information we do not ask you to provide

The Game does not ask you to create an account or directly submit your name, postal address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, health information, or payment information. The developer does not operate a separate in-game analytics account or sell personal information.

Your choices

• You may decline the App Tracking Transparency request and continue playing.
• You may avoid rewarded-ad processing by not choosing the optional ad offer.
• You can review or change tracking permission in your device's iOS privacy settings.
• You can remove locally stored game progress by deleting the Game from your device.

Children's privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the issue.

Data retention and international processing

Locally stored progress remains until you reset or delete the Game. Third-party providers retain and process information according to their own policies and legal obligations. Their infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Game, its services, or applicable requirements. The effective date above will be revised when the policy changes.
